Service Description

Our session will cover an introduction to Kambo and easing into the treatment with optional plant medicines Rapé and Sananga, gentle meditation and exploring deeper your healing intention. I will guide you and fully support you through the Kambo treatment and finish with sound healing and some light bites. Contraindications It is important to read carefully through the following contraindications and ensure that there are no issues before booking a treatment - • Any brain issues, such as, Stroke, injury, aneurism, haemorrhage etc. • All heart issues • COVID Vaccine – 6 weeks • Active stomach ulcers • Diarrhoea 48 hours prior • Addison’s disease • Epilepsy • Taking Bufo within 8 weeks prior • Blood clots • Chemo – 6 weeks • Organ transplant • Serious mental health conditions (excluding anxiety and depression) • Medicated low blood pressure • Recent internal surgeries 8 weeks prior • Gastric sleeve or band • Pregnant • Breast feeding under 6 months • Under 18 years old • Asthma is ok but please bring inhaler • Diabetes is ok but please bring insulin and food – ideally bring someone with you who knows how to manage your diabetes treatment • No food for a minimum of 8 hours before treatment • No more than a small glass or two of water the day of the treatment Medication Contraindications • Anti-psychotics • Anti-epileptics • Anti-diuretics – must be stopped for 5 days • Diuretics – must be stopped for 5 days • Benzodiazepines used regularly or dependently – must be fully withdrawn with the guidance of a health professional for a minimum of 4 weeks prior • Opiates used regularly or dependently – must be fully withdrawn for 2 weeks • Alcohol dependency – must be fully withdrawn for 2 weeks • Alcohol and recreational drugs – 48 hours • Antibiotics – please finish the course before treatment • Other regular medications such as anti depressants and oral contraceptives can be taken but please take your daily dose after the Kambo treatment Please note that this list is not exhaustive and there may be other medications that are contraindicated, please let Melissa know any medications you are taking or any health issues.
