Administering Kambo
Kambo is collected from frogs without harming them, the tribes believe that it will cause bad energy if any harm comes to the frogs. After having collected the secretion, it is dried on a bamboo stick.
You will fast for a minimum 8 hours before treatment and, to make Kambo's powerful purgative effects more comfortable, participants will be asked to drink at least 1.5 litres of water prior to administration. Then, before it is applied, small holes or “gates“ are lightly burned on the skin's surface using the tip of an incense stick – a very quick and almost painless procedure – and the medicine is then applied to the skin so that it can readily access the lymphatic system and then into the bloodstream.
Kambo is a purgative medicine which means that, during your treatment, the body will make attempts to clear out stored toxins. They can be released in the following ways:

Taking Kambo can be an intense experience, physically and emotionally. The effects last between 20 and 40 minutes after which the participant should feel relaxed and calm. The cleansing and detoxifying begins almost immediately upon administration, possibly with feelings of warmth in the head and face. A treatment leaves most people feeling less pain in the days and weeks after treatment.
